I just finished Words of Radiance and now I'm sad. Trying to get into The Eye of the World, but I haven't even got past the first chapter and I'm struggling. I hope it gets better.
I am trying to get through The Worm Ouroboros but am having a hard time with all of the "thee"s and "thou"s and the "thine"s and "thy"s. I'm not giving up though. I'll slog on till I'm finished. I just have to leave it a bit and come back later.
Just finished the first two books in Red Rising trilogy. I am about to finish the second book in The Acts of Caine series. The second book has been really difficult to get through for the first couple chapters. Not quite Ender's Game to Speaker of the Dead, but the first half of Blade of Tyshalle had a very different tone than Heroes Die.

You'll need to go in to goodreads via the net rather than the app. I'm pretty sure the app doesn't reach them.

Finished The Barrow, which was excellent, albeit dark and not for the squeamish, and am starting Reanimators by Pete Rawlik, a play on Lovecraft which I suspect will also be dark and not for the squeamish.
I'm half way through The Republic of Thieves by Scott Lynch .. so far it is much better than the previous book.
I've started Malazan 2, something about gates! Unfortunately, most of my brain is in the part of me with an horrendous cold so i can't remember it's name:(
Good though.
Good though.

I am really into Historical Fantasy right now. Reading While Beauty Slept which is a retelling of Sleeping Beauty after loving Kate Forsyth's Bitter Greens which is a retelling of Rapunzel. When I say fairy tale retelling I mean the actual fairy tale, not Disney, which does not interest me in the slightest. I consider these Historical Fantasy and not Historical Fiction. Is there a discussion for Historical Fantasy on here? I am also reading Son of the Morning which is an epic fantasy about demons and angels during the Hundred Years War, this author also wrote an awesome Historical Fantasy Series which consists of werewolves and folklore based on Nordic Mythology, the first book is Wolfsangel- which is one of my favorites!
