I liked it. I’ll definitely listen to the next one.
I re-read 500 Kingdoms series "Fairy Godmother" by Mercedes Lacky. Fairy tales are real. She is a meant to be Cinderella, but the only prince around is 10 years old. So she cannot fulfill the "Tradition".She is desperate for a job and goes to the local hiring fair. Everyone is afraid of her stepmother and won't hire her. Except the local fairy godmother who needs a successor.
There are a few steamy love scenes. Great world building. The Fairy Godmother (Five Hundred Kingdoms, #1) by Mercedes Lackey
I am once again rereading the Mercy Thompson series by Patricia Briggs. Everytime it comes up on my for you page on Tiktok (since Amazon bought the rights to a potential show, and I've been following one actress who makes content as Mercy) I go back to my favourite books and end up just jumping around and reading the whole series again. 3rd reread this year LOL
I re-read Silver Silence. This book makes me laugh out loud. The hero is a bear shifter. He is very determined to have her as his mate. She keeps ignoring him and explaining that Psy don't have sex. This book is just so funny. Silver Silence (Psy-Changeling Trinity, #1; Psy-Changeling, #16) by Nalini Singh
Doing another reread of City of Gods & Monsters. Can’t get enough of Lorien, and I’m so excited Kayla Edwards just shared her upcoming publishing plans which bring us back to the city of Angelthene and the House of Devils!!
A new Mallory Dunlin book is out. She writes fantasy romance with magic and steamy scenes. Changeling and the Dragon. My favorite book by her is Gardener and the Water Horse. It's very character driven. The new gardener is a woman at the sorceress' tower. The local lake has a "water horse" that lives in it. He starts watching her garden. Then he starts talking to her.

So far, I'm enjoying. I really love how humorous these books are and the narration is very good.
Mitabird wrote: "I’m reading Magic Tides

."I love Magic Tides and the sequel Magic Claims.
The heroine refers to the hero as "a cinnamon roll space Dracula". He is an alien race that requires blood to survive. She desperately needs money after her dad gambled everything away and bankrupted the family company where she works. She signs up to feed the hero 3 times a day. They become friends first, then lovers. He is constantly making sure she eats properly, buys her new clothes, wants her to be happy with him.
The hero is an alien. So when he "finishes" he lays an un-fertilized egg inside her. His genitals also are a bit unusual but they both enjoy their intimate moments very much. There are steamy scenes.
The story also features the hero trying to get his species accepted in diplomatic channels and opening up trade. So there is some bigotry and protesters in the story.
I’m currently reading Magic Claims
. It’s quite good so far. Feels like old times and I’m enjoying it.

Still my favorite series. Wish a new book would come out at least annually :-)

I am currently reading:
book two of the series
Really enjoying it, although I think it’s more skewed towards the fantasy than romance aspect. I understand there is some kind of screen adaption in production.

What makes it PNR or Fantasy, etc. :)I'm currently reading House of Earth and Blood (Crescent City Book 1) by Sarah J Maas. It is an amazing plot with many twist. There are many different Paranormal characters interacting in a different dimension ruled by a higher power.

I totally agree. She’s one of my favorites of all time.
