Lisa Wingate a predecessor of the storykeeper?

Dear book group, I am desperate as I am looking for a story. Meanwhile, I do not know if the book even exists. In Lisa Wingate Storykeeper, the main character Jen Gibbs takes reference to an incident. She had gone on an adventurous hike with Tom Brandon on a Colorado mountaintop to have his famous memoir published. Snowmobile and blizzard are such key elements, she was a nature girl and Tom Brandon not the action hero but very awkward.
I am looking for this story, this book and don't know if it was published by Lisa Wingate or someone else. Under Jen Gibbs and Wingate I keep coming back to the storykeeper. I probably checked it out from the church library and just can't find it anymore. Who knows anything about it? It must have come out before 2014.

I just did a search for The Story Keeper by Lisa Wingate. It appears to be a book in the "Carolina Heirlooms" series:

Did you look through all of these already? I noticed that there is a book there with 0.5, 1.5's, etc. - so novellas/short stories are also part of this series. Could that be what you were looking for?

(The other recommendation is to check your church library's records! Maybe they can tell you the titles!)
