So I have been reading on an ereader app on my phone but I have heard that the kindle paper white is fantastic. But I am indecisive. Has anyone gone from an ereader app to a kindle?

I was 50/50 on it and recently just got a used one, absolutely love it! Completely different from reading on a phone.

if you're already good with reading electronically go for it simply because of the amount of space you'll save and the free access to so many books. but don't think it's more environmentally better. a lot of resource and mining goes into kindles and none of it is renewable or biodegradable like paper books. 2nd hand books are very much still good for the environment and may be pocket friendly

I just got a kindle for my birthday September 18th and I love it. I still love my hardback and paperback books too.

YES, if you already read ebooks on your phone I think you could benefit from having a reader with an e-ink display. Especially if you enjoy reading before bed, I find the e-ink display is much easier on the eyes and doesn't prevent me from slowly getting into "sleep mode" as I read like a phone display would. Personally I've had Kindles for many years and they were great, but recently switched to a Kobo reader as my daily driver and that works excellently as well.
