Amanda | 126 comments Hi! I hope your reading is off to a good start! Here are my thoughts so far:

I'm not sure how I like this book so far. Beginnings of books are always a bit rough for me, so it may just be me, but I'm just not loving how it started. Both Josh and Lucy just seem too immature for me; it's like reading about children with petty grudges so far. I'm just not feeling it so far, but it's too early to have any concrete stance on how good the book is, so I guess I'll look forward to reading further.

I will say that Josh's planner code is intriguing, so I am looking forward to seeing where that goes.

Happy reading!

aikaterine (missaikaterine) | 347 comments Hello hello, I *finally* started this last night, and, to be honest, the veeery beginning with the description of how they got into the whole sharing-an-office situation seemed pretty realistic, but when I read about Lucy's password, right after that mirroring game, I felt for a moment like I was reading Wattpad fiction about teenagers...

So, I pretty much agree with you @Amanda xD

Anyway, afterwards there was talk about office things so it helped me reconnect with the fact they are actually adults, haha!

At least, we know what we signed up for, something fun, quick and ridiculous, right? xD

I do agree with you that there are moments that remind you that they are adults, which does redeem it a bit. I think I just came into the book expecting mature adults and found some behavior that seemed more appropriate for kids.

I'm glad you got around to this book. I finished it yesterday (I just didn't post because I felt kind of silly posting with no one else doing the same), but I did end up finding the book quite enjoyable. I do think the book is either something you like or don't with no in-between. I happened to read it at a good time for me (I'm a mood reader, so I'm glad I read this at the right time).

I hope you enjoy the book! I'll check back in if anyone posts again.

Happy reading!

aikaterine (missaikaterine) | 347 comments @Amanda, I'm a total mood reader myself, so I can totally relate. The good things is that I went into it having heard how immature the protagonists can get, so I'm at least somewhat prepared. I just hope it doesn't come back to teenager level, haha.

I can't wait to discuss it in more length with you when I finish too! :D

aikaterine (missaikaterine) | 347 comments Okay okay, I finally finished this last (? I'm so confused with the busy schedule) week! I switched to audiobook and it was an amazing decision, as the ebook format wasn't doing it for me at all.

I got to say, I totally get what you mean @Amanda about how you can go either full love or full hate with it.

I really enjoyed it despite of all the cheesiness in the final chapters. However, I do have a minor minor comment... What was that hating game? It was only there for about a few chapters and that was it xD

But, anyway, it delivered the rom-com vibes I needed it to.
