How do you keep your eyes healthy while reading?

I am working on an application that allows you to track the condition of the eyes while reading. Would you be so interested?

yes, i read on my phone most of the times and my eyesight is already bad so

I try not to read in too long a chunks, and before bed so I fall asleep and give eyes a rest.
If I read during the day it will mostly be listening to audiobook while walking and exercising my eyes

I use a kindle 😭

I read in the light if it's night time. I also use a Kindle and wear my specs, which means I pretty much have bad eyesight.
