okiee now I can share some of my thoughts: WHY IS ATLAS SO ADORABLE. like this man is so so much more respectful and sweeter than ryle in every way possible. speaking of ryle, I can kinda see why other people were frustrated with lily still letting him into her life (especially with that apartment key scene ugh), but I think it's pretty accurate to life: she can't leave completely because Emerson, and she's still friends with his sister. it'd be impossible to completely cut him off.

I KNOW RIGHT??! I WANT TO EAT HIS FACE OFF. yeah that was weird like give her the keys back already. i agree but she needs to stop saying "but what would ryle think if i did this or that" just because he is the father of her child. but again it's ryle we're talking about so it's inevitable that he'll put on a show again and make everything worse.

honestly you're right; even if she can't cut him off she doesn't need to live her life by the "what would ryle say?" at some point, she does need to be independent.
also random side note: i know technically this book was a cash grab since the first was released in 2016, but does it just not feel that way to you? for me it lowkey feels effortless and that everyone really needed a sequel (especially atlas 😍)

yess! but it is also known as a fact that this book wouldn't exist if there weren't any obstacles to prevent atlas and lily from getting back together so im done complaining lol

i knoww! it ends with us got very popular on booktok so people obviously asked for a sequel, but the author's note in the beginning kind of convinced me that this was written for those fans and not for money. yes she will still earn money but i don't think that she needed to sit down and write a whole book to earn it, from what i see, she already seems to be wealthy. YES #litlasforeva or whatever their ship name is 😭
