About Pravitel

Pravitel, historically, was always a queendom. This means that the primary ruler of the land was a queen, not a king, and that the heir was therefore the crown princess, with no crown prince.

There are five provinces in Pravitel (now, the Pravitel Republic). The capital city of Pravitel, Slava, is located in the province of Vosstaniye.

Moshchnost
The southernmost province in the Pravitel Republic and therefore the closest to the equator. Moshchnost is also the most ideal for farmland. Thus, the main industry in Moshchnost revolves around crops and livestock. It is in the middle of the five provinces as far as economy -- while it does not prosper as Vosstaniye does, its crops are necessary for the population of Pravitel.

Izvestnost
Although it is the second poorest province in Pravitel, Izvestnost is vastly wealthier than Bogatstvo. It has the smallest population, the smallest amount of land, and its primary industry is in its mining areas. Precious gems and metals have been found, as well as others. They do have a farming industry, although notably smaller than that of Moshchnost.

Povstanets
As the second-wealthiest province in Pravitel, Povstanets is the main manufacturer among the provinces. Although more flashy businesses -- film, music, and financial -- are based in Vosstaniye, Povstanets is home to the inventors and the majority of the medical field is based there. When seeking treatment for medical ailments, one would generally travel to Povstanets for help if they could afford it.

Bogatstvo
The poorest of the five provinces, the people of Bogatstvo were the most eager for a democracy. With a brutal and frigid environment, Bogatstvo is the northernmost province and has no way to support itself by crops. Their main industry lies in other natural resources, the primary one being oil. The vast majority of the province has been plunged into poverty; however, in the years since the Revolution, the conditions and economy of Bogatstvo have been steadily improving.

Vosstaniye
By far the wealthiest of the five provinces, the capital city of Slava, although in the "middle" of Pravitel, is located within Vosstaniye territory. It is the metropolitan province, and definitely the most popular among visitors. Some consider it to have the richest history, as Slava was the home of the royal family before the Revolution.

Pravitel takes place in a modern alternate universe. This means that they have modern luxuries (medicine, technology, etc.), but it does not take place in the world that we know. This means that there should be no reference to real-life people, countries, or anything of the like.

All characters in this roleplay live in Slava.
