"Isbn appears invalid" error

Hi all, I was trying to add the ISBN-10 to this version of the book:

But I got the following error message:

Isbn appears invalid. Please double-check the ISBN10: "8844001493".

Do you know what is causing this and how I can solve the issue? The ISBN number is correct and it's clearly stated in the back cover of the book.

If you are sure it is correct, there is a checkbox at the bottom to make it accept the entry.
I have entered this one.
