This was just outstanding. Dugoni’s attention to details and character development was at his finest in this story.
I absolutely hate that we’ve caught up.
On a brighter note…the next DI Kim Stone book is out next month, November 9. Up for doing a buddy read?

I felt Dugoni outdid himself with this one. Talk about intense plotting and characterizations...this one blew me away.
I'm reading the DI Kim Stone series now at one a month but am not up to date yet.

Something else occurred to me…
Most of the bad cops associated with task force didn’t live that long to enjoy their spoils. Only 24 years later and most had died. Something poetic in that.

Well that is certainly one way of looking at things, lol
I'm still annoyed that nothing really happened to Moss and Weber.
This one was really good. Sad to be up to date with the series. I'm guessing we'll have a year to wait for the next one.
I haven't started the DI Kim Stone series, but I keep seeing you talk about it. I'll have to put it higher on my list as I grabbed a few of these when I saw them on sale.
