Moss Gunderson and his partner investigated Lisa’s disappearance and implicated her husband Larry. Was this deliberate?

Yes! They wanted to turn any suspicion away from cops. He was a despicable man. He was willing to sacrifice an innocent person to cover his tracks. I know you can't get away from bad cops, but it ruffles my feathers when I read about it -- real and fiction.

Sure it was deliberate. He wanted to make sure no one was looking at the task force.

Definitely. They didn’t even follow basic investigative processes, just looked for things to further cast suspicions on Larry.

I totally believe this was deliberate. The husband asked them to look into what she was investigating and it didn't seem like they followed up on that at all. At this point, I still thought Gunderson was involved with The Last Line heists - so it would've been important to nip this in the bud. Plus, we had no idea who she sprayed with the bear spray - just that she recognized the person.
