for me it works to reread my fav book, but sometimes i just go for something popular with hype (with low expectations tbh haha). last time i did "icebreaker" and it was so good.
i’ve been in a reading slump since may, and honestly you just have to find a book that is completely different than anything you’ve read. i’m currently reading priest, so tons of smut and i love the reading, feeling like the slump will be over soon!
Re-read your fav book and go on booktok!!!!!
Stare at Pinterest until you feel the need to read
stalk booktok and read a short book to clean your reading pallette!
wattpad. just choose a shirt cheesy wattpad fic. that got me out of SO MANY slumps
read wattpad or ao3, go on booktok or click through goodreads, reread your old favourites or literally just go buy a random book and stare it down until you’re ready to read!!
are read your fave books, go to a nice place and read short books. Read cute romances instead of heavy plot. Eat while reading. Start back small like 10mins but you might end up reading more
honestly the only thing that works for me is just picking up a highly recommended book and diving into it to keep my mind off of other books
i either read something short and fast, or something simpler like a goosebumps book. stalking booktok also kinda works
Look for something interesting. You like plot? Look for a book with a good plot. You like good characters? Look for a book with good characters. That’s what I like to do ☺️
i would definitely go for something with a strong plot like a thriller book, that usually helps me :)
