I’m currently tandem reading empire of storms and tower of dawn by sjm and it’s definitely time consuming but I love it!! I definitely recommend tandem reading for the first read through. EOS has a lot of action, and TOD is a lot slower, more character based. It’s the perfect mix if you attempt the challenge of 1300 pages which is daunting but so doable if you mark your book before hand
