Phoebe comes to visit after learning of Merritt’s situation with Keir. However, as soon as she sees him (after his beard was shaved off), Phoebe gets that he’s her father’s son. What did you make of her reaction?

It was a shock, but Phoebe handled it perfectly. It sounds like her parents were honest with their children about their past. Phoebe is a loving soul; she wouldn't blame Keir for her father's indiscretions.

Sebastian's children all knew that he had a less than sterling reputation before he married Evie. Phoebe is a lot like her mother, loving and accepting of everyone.

I agree with both of you. Phoebe is definitely like her mother. Very accepting. I think they were both very honest with their children.

I was impressed by how well she handled herself in that moment. Even though she and her siblings were obviously well aware of their father’s past, it still is jolting to learn of a half sibling this late in life. I felt bad for her that she had to learn about him like this, though.
