I vaguely remember Sebastian mentioned in The Wallflowers that he liked having affairs with married women, so that didn't surprise me. I didn't make any judgments. I would not be happy in a bad relationship when I knew I couldn't get divorced. It was a rough time for women for so many reasons. Yes, I believed that Ormonde was behind it. Sebastian did his research.
I must admit that I was distracted while listening to this part and didn't catch all the particulars of what was revealed. I didn't blame either of them. It was accepted for a married woman to take a lover and it was what young Rakes did.
I remembered in Sebastian and Evie's story also where he talked about affairs with married women. So this didn't surprise me at all. I understood why young men did this. They were always being sought after for marriage. This is safe.
Once I learned the story behind Keir’s parentage, I was absolutely convinced that the person looking to kill him was Ormonde.
I didn’t have any judgments at all. In fact, Lady Cordelia did the admirable thing by finding Keir a safe home. I think she had deep feelings for Sebastian that carried forward with their child.
