Sebastian takes control of Keir following the explosion and takes him to his home in Sussex, with Merritt accompanying him after she declares her engagement to Keir. Did you figure out what Sebastian’s motives were by this time? Was it obvious that Keir was his son? Were you concerned about when this may have happened?

I didn't believe Sebastian would ever cheat on Evie, so I wasn't concerned about when Keir was conceived. I did know that he was Sebastian's son. Too often, his resemblance to Sebastian was mentioned for him not to be related. Knowing Sebastian's reputation, Keir had to be his son.

I agree. Keir's resemblance to Sebastian was mentioned too many times for them not to be related. I assumed that Keir was his son from long before he met Evie.

It took me awhile to give it up that Keir wasn't a Ravenal, but when I finally did, I knew he was Sebastian's son. I knew that Sebastian would never have cheated on Evie so this must have happened before during his wild Rake days.

I thought he was Sebastian's son pretty early on. There were enough references to him resembling Sebastian. I also knew that Sebastian would have never cheated on Evie.

By this time, I was convinced Keir was Sebastian’s son and, yes, I was concerned about the timing. Should have trusted Kleypas to not go there.

At this point in the story, the relationship is obvious.
I never for one second believed that Sebastian cheated on Evie and knew that Keir had to have been conceived during Sebastian's time as a immoral cad, lol!
