I have to start right off the bat and say that the writing to me was just dull. I feel like every 3 words she ended a sentence. I'm also not sure if it's me or if I'm just used to novels having way more descriptive text but I really felt that this was lacking description.

Ryle is a despicable human being. I have to admit, I definitely fell for the "tall, dark, and handsome" appeal to him in the beginning but after he first hit Lily I instantly lost all my respect for him as a character.
