I passed my librarian test a while back, but have not heard back regarding my status. How long is the wait supposed to be?

But since I have some things to contribute I'd like to handle myself instead of nagging on other librarians (covers, books), I actually have a reason other than "would be so cool" =)

So authors are disqualified from being librarians, even after passing the test and applying? Is that put in writing somewhere official?
It was your claim, I figured you had some proof to back it up.
It's what I have heard stated repeatedly in this group and elsewhere. Sorry if I can't provide you with proof. You could try searching yourself.
