this young boy has had a tough life. he lived with his uncle until the age of 13 when he left for lily-pond academy. but why? what happened to his parents? well, his mom left because she couldn’t financially support the two of them. wait, hold on, two? yes, two. lorenzo’s father left him when he was just a baby—left him for dead. the reason behind it remains unclear, for the memory is foggier then a swamp on a dark night. his mother had requested of lorenzo’s uncle—his fathers brother—to take care of him for her. she never visited, yet always thought about returning. the poor canadian boy’s parents were never mentioned except maybe once every 2 years for the sake of his mental health. when lorenzo was at the age of 7, he went to a boarding school for bad boys and started treating a bunch of fellow students horribly. his uncle found out what he was doing and lorenzo has yet to learn from his misdeeds—now, he’s an innocent boy who wants to do no harm to the world, but feels it is a must in order to survive. he’s just…lost and confused. he thinks it’s the world that wants to do harm to him, and boy has it taken its share.

will was a reserved child since he was enrolled into preschool. though he was quite intelligent and helping as well as caring, he never spoke—some deemed him as mute, while others just thought he never spoke by his choice. both, of which, were right in their own ways. will was selectively mute, and still is. he became selectively mute at around 5, when his father began to abuse him and put him through hell. he was teased, many calling him a skinny rabbit and a faggot. some called him zombie boy because of his fatigue as he grew older and went into junior high. his mother had died before he was entered into junior high - which led him to become more sensitive, easily scared, and worried about the future. yes, he may hate what his father has done, but he still loves him. another reason that will gets called zombie boy is because…people thought he was dead. he had been sent into the hospital and everyone thought he died, but after two years he was released back to in-person school, leading him to miss 5th and 6th grade in school. he went to junior high and had no friends, nor made any, and it’s still the same in high school at lily-pond academy. his father knows where he is, and it scares will. much about will is unknown, to the reason why he’s mute in the first place with the exact reason to answer, to why he’s even still breathing. it may never be answered, but perhaps….he’ll tell you, when he decides to speak. for now, it’s all sign-language and emotionless faces.
