A deputy prosecutor (or vice) has to go and live on a ranch for a while and has to make jam and not tell her true identity so she lies and pretend to not being intelligent or ambitious.
There she meets a man and the two start a relationship (I don't remember if he also lies about his identity but I believe). Afterwards she remain pregnant but he is the owner of the ranch and when she came to tell him about the pregnancy he shut down her (and maybe divorce her?).
While she's driving away she has an abortion and lost the baby.
At the end he found out about her true identity and came to her to aplogizes e tell her he loves her.
I read this book 3 years ago but i think the book si ten years old or more,
