This book was one in a series. They were friends and in this specific book the female main character was pregnant. Had a belly. And she was meeting with one of the friends in his office. He worked with the father of the baby and she was sitting at a table and the father of the child walked in and saw here. Words were said. I cannot remember everything. But he was upset because she’d been gone and she stood up and he just stared at her. I think she said it was his and he ended up walking out. The book is from both their perspectives. It’s either a mafia book or a billionaire book. Something like that.
