Jcorbman | 7 comments When I was a child, I had a rotary slide picture change book. Every page had a circular picture, and there was a tab at the corner that the reader could slide, and it would change the picture. It was often a before-and-after scene change, so each page told a little story. The children in the book had Dutch names like Hans. I remember they were playing Blind Man's Bluff on one page. I think there was also one page in which the dog fell through the ice, and he caught a cold.

Thank you!

SBC (essbeecee) | 1594 comments Is it a book by Ernest Nister? He has a number you can look up here on Goodreads. One with a dog on the ice is Revolving Pictures

SBC (essbeecee) | 1594 comments The website Etsy has a number of them for sale and has more pictures of what the books look like on the inside. eg Magic Pictures and Merry Magic Go-Round. The Merry Magic Go-Round book also has a picture of a dog on the ice.

If Ernest Nister isn't your man, is this the sort of picture wheel design you remember or was it something different?
