Okay, I loved this one too! And I'm really grateful it was set as a BotM otherwise I probably wouldn't have come across it, so thanks everyone who voted :D

25% (view spoiler)[ I love love love the diversity too! Lesbian grandmothers, non-binary SC and MC with hearing aids. It's not often you see deafness/hard of hearing represented in books at all, so I think that's pretty awesome. I was deaf when I was a child and, although I never wore hearing aids, I never found someone in a book who was 'like me'. (hide spoiler)]

50% (view spoiler)[ I don't know what I made of her being able to talk to her parents... it was weird. It was also at this point that I realised this was the second in the series lol! I'd like to read the first one two, but I'll wait til I have a bit more money - we were so lucky this was on KU! But without the context, it's a bit weird her parents popping up. It also makes more sense when she meets Tam because because she sees them in book as well? (hide spoiler)]
