I was worried that this would be nothing like her other series but nope it still has sarcastic humor and women that like to ignore problems and hope they go away but end up making their lives worse and make them deal with it. The best part of her books really and of course really hot male characters that just ooze heat. Of course this one had to leave off on a huge cliff hanger. I also liked that this was about a woman in her 40's after a divorce because who says life ends at any point I love how no matter where or what you are doing in life you can be a bad ass and have an adventure out of it. It also has a house that is haunted by her grandpa. I am hoping we have more of that in the second book.

Review:Great book
This book is so great it is truly one of a kind! The main character is given a house for free after a horrible scam of a marriage where her husband and his mother scamed her! 😱 she is rightfully scared to keep the house that she finds out is actually her dead grandpa! But that's not why she's scared to keep it! Remember scam husband? Well he scammed her and put everything in his mother's name! Now she has nothing! I mean absolutely nothing! That's why she is scared! Not the dead grandpa house! 😆 I highly recommend reading this book if you want to know more because that is literally only the beginning! This book has me hooked! I need more!

Review — I really enjoyed getting to know Quayde Karys, finally! Stuck in a prison world to keep an evil threat at bay, we’ve met him briefly in previous books. He handles his integration into a world he hasn’t seen in centuries with incredible grace, faith, and humor. Haven is a nice compliment to Quayde though she comes off more b*tchy than independent at times. This book continues the newest storyline in the series well and sets up future books nicely. I’m looking forward to the rest of the Seven meeting their mates and to meet up with old friends.

Man do I love me some Kate Daniels! I will never grow tired of these characters. I for sure thought Curran was going to lose his cool in this one but again he is growing and learning how to not always growl and muscle his way. Though we will keep the growling because who can resist. We kind of get some clarity with Kate's father I think there is more to it there then we even know. Kate is hurt which in normal circumstances would happen and add to it that he is a god and full of himself its not the best and can't just be ignored. He does try to help in some ways not always the best way but what parent is perfect. It reminds me a lot of Mercy and her father Coyote from Patricia Briggs.

If you want hot and heavy books this author is for you she never fails. Though be warned this one is more smexy times rather than story. I liked both of these characters but I am interested to see how they bring Apollo back and what they are going to do with that. I am also wondering about the two that are kind of in coma like states. To see if they will make it or not. I hope we see more of the wolf sisters in the future books maybe in the back story. These are my guilty pleasure.

First off how does Darynda Jones write such manly and sexy characters that just smolder and make you want them with out doing much. I mean it does help that he is always there to save her if needed so there is that. Percy got an upgrade he now has vines that cover the entire house that can stop Defiance in her tracks or so he thought. It is going to take multiple people keeping an eye on her to keep her out of trouble and I thought Charlie looked for trouble everywhere she looked Defiance is the epitome of trouble and I love it. Also I say we make kilts a thing who is with me ladies! Man I need the next one and I need these cliff hangers to calm down.

Review — WOW…this was a roller coaster ride that got more and more intense as the story went on. Early in the story I was a bit lost as the pieces didn’t seem to make any sense and it seemed there were two separate stories going on. That didn’t last too long though. Once momentum built, it built fast. I was on the edge of my seat waiting to see how everything came together…then it ended…on a cliffhanger to end all cliffhangers (in my opinion)! Thank goodness Archangel’s War is already out because I started that book up right after the credits of this book ended. Seriously such a great series and I can’t wait to see what unfolds in the coming books!

Review — Another great installment in this series! This book sets up a second Krewe of Hunters team. Beginning in San Antonio, I really loved how well the history and current-day murders were tied together. I look forward to getting to know these hunters better and catching up with the first team in future books.

Review: Captivating
This book literally sucks you in to where you won't put it down until it's done! The world building is perfect! And so is the character building! The relationship had you holding on to this book by its Preverbal Caller ! This is one of those books that you leave with feelings and have a hard time starting a new book because you know the next one won't be as great! I am still desperately waiting on the edge of my seat for book 2 which comes out in December! I can't wait!

Review:Really good!
Heart of Malice is a great book It kept me attention from beginning to end! I usually don't like books with ghosts in them they are usually tacky and annoying. But heart of Malice was not! This book kept me on my toes! Not once was I able to guess the ending which is very rare for me! After reading this I highly recommend it! Can't wait to read more!

Review — …
With the war over, it’s time to get to know more about other characters in this world. Titus has been a huge presence when he is part of the narrative, but not so much that he’s obnoxious. I have enjoyed Titus as a character since I began this series and love him all the more now that I know more of his story. Sharine has been a gentle presence throughout the series so far. She started to come out of her fog at the end of the last book and this book really does a great job of tracking her history so the reader can understand how her mind fractured. Together these two have great chemistry and push one another to be better and stronger. I wasn’t sure how I felt about Titus and the Hummingbird as a couple prior to this book, but they really are a great match. I had to pull a star, though, because the pacing was off. Sometimes it seemed to drag making it difficult to stay engaged.
