Ella⟢ | 29 comments Annie on My Mind, published in 1982! About two girls who are best friends who fall in love. Haven’t read it yet but I’m dying to get my hands on it <3 and ofc Giovanni’s Room which was written in 1956 and centers around a gay man, so I’d say that’s pretty classic and queer lol

yes!! Carmilla is amazing I love it so much. one of my favorite books and it has such cool drawings in it

noémie the picture of dorian gray isn't explicitly gay (i mean it kinda is, but not really), but it was used as proof agaisnt oscar wilde when he was tried for homosexuality, so take that as you will
