angie (zzangie) | 12 comments i got 4 books from the library and 2 additional books I bought! so I'm set hahah. I'm currently reading Frankenstein because I want to take a break from basic romance reads. since it's getting chilly and dark out, I want to explore the book realm of thriller and horror. not too scary ofc because I am sorta sensitive. if anyone knows any good spooky books lmk!!

I have Frankenstein!! I was thinking of reading it this fall too since it's good for this type of ambiance!! I'm reading the secret history right now, I have about 100 pages to go but I think it is absolutely perfect for autumn and also if you are looking for a dark academia vibe. it's not exactly spooky but it's a mystery and psychological fiction!! For autumn I also recommend the picture of Dorian Gray if you enjoy classics and Carmilla which is about sapphic vampires with a couple of super cool drawings in it!!

I honestly want to purchase those books you mentioned even though I can borrow them because it just makes the reading experience special. owning a book that you LOVE is dear to me. if I love Frankenstein I might as well just purchase it and reread It over and over :)

Ella⟢ | 29 comments I currently have five books that I’ve bought recently, waiting to be read—I’ve wanted to finish the book my friend lent me first, though! After I’m finished with that, I’m thinking either Orlando, Frankenstein, or If We Were Villains
