Kennett Olander comes to see Morgan following his wife’s suicide, demanding she return a check she’d never received. After his violent reaction, what opinions did you form about him and his son? Do you think he had anything to do with his daughter-in-law’s murder?

He had one of the shortest fuses I've seen in stories, so it would not have surprised me that his hatred of women could have involved him in her murder.

[Jonetta]

At first I felt sorry for him but when he did an about face and became aggressive, I tagged him as an abuser. This guy was pure meanness. When I later learned Lena married him when she was 16-years old, the horror of her past and potential future was glaringly obvious. And, I’m sure she saw what happened to her daughter-in-law, Natalie. Her suicide then made sense.
