Newbie Trey | 5 comments Hey Dear Super Librarians
I'm from a Publisher company that we have a huge demand(hundreds of books) of adding books to the database(creating bookpages)
I don't think it's practical and efficient for either us or librarians to handle it one by one.
Here's some info you may need to know
we are a web-fiction platform, like wattpad ,but we won't upload fan-fic books here
our books are complete but not published (only in ebook format and no ISBN) ,but we will upload some books on amazon ,but not all of them, then we will get ISBN or ASIN for some books
Since the books are not published yet, it's hard to count the pages of a book, if the page number is important to adding a book
same with the publish date.....if we are talking about the same thing, we do have a date of a book when it first published on our platform.
This is an urgent request ,hope could get your feedback asap
Thank you for your efforts to the community
Have a good day

This does not require assistance from a Superlibrarian; I have moved it to the correct folder. Please see https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...

Please see https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...

Also please note that works in process and stories only available through apps do not meet our criteria for inclusion on Goodreads.

Dobby (dobby0390) | 7859 comments As I explained to you in our DM conversations, librarians add books one at a time according to the requests in the Adding New Books & Editions folder, using the information submitted on the format shown here: How to request a book to be added to Goodreads. Books do not have to have a page count in order to be added to the database. As Rivka pointed out, however, they must be completed works, not works in process.

I also explained about Amazon's import bot that adds books with ISBNs or ASINs. Those do not have to be added individually by librarians.

all stories are completed work, and available both on website and app, I have seen many books from wattpad and webnovel in the database before I reached you
This is important to us ,
I already emailed to GR CS team see if we can get a special account to manage our own books
Thanks

Newbie Trey | 5 comments Hey Dobby
Thanks for your comment
We plan to add books into GR database first before selling on Amazon, Which means only part of book sold on amazon would get a ISBN or ASIN, other books would not have .
I'm seeking an efficient way to add our books besides sending request in the group. as I explained we have hundreds of books to be added.
Thank you

The presence of an item in the database is not proof of its eligibility. Until recently, anyone could anything to Goodreads. Users not following guidelines is one of the reasons that privilege was taken away.

As these stories are only able to be read via the app or if signed into the website, they do not meet our criteria for inclusion in the Goodreads database.

I found this link
https://help.goodreads.com/s/article/...
it didn't mention that a web-fiction book published online is not allowed to be added into the database
Thank you

This may help clarify: https://help.goodreads.com/s/article/...

In reply to your DM, anything that is *only* published on the Dreame site/app is not able to be included in the database. Librarians remove them as they come across them.
