I am not asking this for me, but my best friend has read a book in the past 1 year or 2. As I said in the title, it's a ya queer fantasy book about twins whose father died and one of them was kind of a witch. They then move with their stepdad and mother to this other place (maybe a rural castle? She's not sure).
I'll let her know as soon as this gets some answers!

They are both female and only one of them is gay. My friend also told me that the chapters have plant names. And the plot is something about one of them having a controlling boyfriend
