To be a series, per Goodreads definition, books need to have shared character(s) and/or a shared universe. A shared theme, topic, or plot isn't enough. Can you describe how these books meet the definition?
Sure! The Book 2 main female character, Maddie, is the best friend of the main female character in Book 1. Maddie appears in books 1, 2, 3, & 6. The Book 3 main female character is friends with the two main female characters from Book 1 & 2 and is the sister of a main male character in Book 1, and so on.
The majority of the main characters in each book are connected in some way to the characters in the books that come before or after them.
