Darkness Unmasked question

Why does Risa have wings and long hair on the covers when she has neither in the books? She talks about running her hands through her short hair repeatedly. And she is not a full Aedh, so she does not have wings.
I hate when the covers of books do not match what is described in the story. You would think the author would make sure they were at least close. Sorry it is just a little pet peeve of mine.
