Beta Swap for Part 1 of WIP sci fantasy (~44k)

Hello,

I have the first part of a WIP done, sitting at around 44K words at the moment and would appreciate some general feedback. I'd say the novel straddles the line between science fiction and fantasy, drawing on elements of both in a world where magic and technology live side by side.

The plot revolves around a magical cop hunting a known terrorist who has evaded the government for over a decade. When the cop acquires a device that lets him see into the memories of the terrorist, the cop initially believes he's found a way to finally catch his quarry. Instead, he ends up learning a lot more about himself in the process, about who he thinks he is and who he wants to be.

Personally I'm open to beta reading anything that falls under the umbrella of speculative fiction. PM me if you think you're a match.

Victor, a hardened and apathetic veteran, will do whatever it takes to redeem his failings. However, he has no idea the challenges he must overcome.
Shell, an outsider to society, has lost everyone she has ever cared about. She must balance her own survival over revenge against the people who took everyone from her.

I have an Urban Fantasy/Suspense I need help smoothing out the second half (part two) that can be read as a standalone. Around 40k.

Agents from the future teleport to the present, a world tearing from social turbulence. Fae, Vampire, Lycan, and Mutants all try to work within the human laws but find many objectionable and restrictive.
Rivers and his team have a difficult assignment; change the future by any means necessary to prevent genocide. They attempt to bring creation to a new branch of law enforcement through conspiracy, murder, election rigging, and a political assassination. Nothing is off limits to complete their mission. That is, until Detective Burns is on the case.
Once formed, The Citizens Protection Federation agents are comprised of humans, mutants and a feral. The new agents struggle to overcome prejudice and distrust to become a team as they combat civil unrest. But what sacrifices will the new agents have to make?
