March Challenge: Spring Break Spell Out
Angel wrote: "I need a "u" book for this challenge. Any suggestions?"What kind of books do you like?
Unwind was good. It was creepy.
I want to read Unholy Night but I haven't yet. I read two of his other books and really liked them.
I want to read An Unsuitable Job for a Woman
The Unbearable Lightness of Being
Until I Find You...I love anything by John Irving
I hope that gives you some ideas. Just google books that start with "U" and you can get more ideas.
You are half way there Megan! Congratulations Chris :)
Welcome Mervat! I have you and your March progress listed.
I just finished Fall of Giants but unfortunately it doesn't fit my word :(
Thanks Jodi. I was thinking about Unwinding but I was looking for a quick, easy "fluff" book; like those by Richard Evans or Mitch Album (not really fluff but a quick read). Already reading The Shining so that will take most of the month.

An awesome read!! The language. I enjoy books where I am able to visualize the story and Coelho's style in this novel, You feel as if you are traveling side by side with Santiago. Coelho has definitely been added to my list of authors to continue reading! Best book I read in a very long time.
Congratulations Tina and Chris! You are well on your way. I hope you have enjoyed the books you have read so far for this challenge.Nwanyidimma, I loved The Alchemist. I read it last year. I am glad you enjoyed it.
Please let me know if you have finished books and need updating. Also tell us all what books you read. That is how my "To Read" shelf grows so much :)
4/5 R Room I really enjoyed this book, it was told from the perspective of a five-year-old, which I found very interesting and different. The subject matter is a bit dark, but I didn't find it disturbing at all. I would recommend this book to most people.
T that Summer I would say do not read this book, unless you want to go to sleep :-)
I loved the book Room Berit. It was really an emotional book. It stayed with me for a long time after reading that one.Congratulations Cristal! I bought Silver Linings Paybook but haven't had a chance to read it yet. I don't think it will make my March book list unfortunately.

Angel wrote: "Wow Laurie you finished war and peace already? How was it?"I finished it this month but didn't read the whole thing in March. I liked it on the whole, but some of the war parts dragged a little. Definitely glad I read it as it was on my TBR forever, and it is one of those classics it seems like everyone should read.
Jodi wrote: "Way to go Berit!Phoebe, you are absolutely able to still join. Welcome to the challenge. Just let me know when you finish a book and tell us all which books you read."
Hi Everyone! Congratulations for finishing books. I think I have everyone updated! I am away on holidays right now and just have my phone with me. I will do my best to keep updating people but it is hard to edit messages on my phone. Keep reading.

I've really liked each of these books. Plus, I'm finally tackling some of my TBR books that I just got at a library sale so, yay! :)
Just completed my "C" selection - Catch of the Day by Kristan Higgins. Sweet story with good romance. As always, the characters are interesting and have depth, and I enjoyed the little Maine town the author created. Definitely worth reading. 4 stars2/5

So far, the only book I have really liked this month was Station Eleven. The others were just okay.

All of the books were good, but Station Eleven and Rain Reign (a children's book) were both great reads.

Just completed my "B" selection - The Next Best Thing by Kristan Higgins. Not bad but not my favorite Higgins' book. I felt the book was a bit repetitious and lacked some of Higgins' trademark comedy. There were times I wanted to shake the main character and tell her to get over it already. There were good parts too. Overall, not bad. 3 stars3/5
