64%(view spoiler)[Booooooooored. I swear I’m missing 80% of this as my mind wanders lol. But oh shit, now they realize what the worms are up to. Hell getting in the cracks to bring down half the island and thus create a mega tsunami 😵😵😵 And the damage they already caused so far is insane. Honestly this is why I respect and fear the ocean so much. We literally have no clue what’s down there. And I never thought about how well creatures at that depth would feel and hear any crafts coming near and would vacate. Obviously there senses are heightened but as much as I know many things would avoid it, them feeling the pressure and change in the waters from minuscule movements, makes whatever’s down there more scary. This is a sloooooow book so prepare yourself. I had my kindle read it to me as fast I could handle to get through parts of it. Don't get me wrong it has it's moments but for the most part it's rather dry and loaded with scientific information.
