[Done] New translation/edition of Unfinished Tales of Númenor and Middle-earth

Hi, there is a new Persian translation of this original title:
Unfinished Tales of Númenor and Middle-Earth

There is an older translation of this book which only contains 1 part of the original book (older translation is only Part Two: The Second Age):

New edition is combination of that old translation + the remaining parts which were translated recently. The book is now complete and has 3 translators separated by , bellow. Second in person translator section is me

جی. آر. آر. تالکین در سال ۱۹۵۵ به هنگام نوشتن ضمایم برای فرمانروای حلقه‌ها گفته بود: «کسانی که از کتاب تنها به عنوان «رزم‌نامۀ عاشقانه» لذت می‌برند، و «پس‌زمینۀ توضیح‌داده نشده» را تنها جلوه‌ای ادبی می‌دانند، ضمایم را نادیده می‌انگارند که همینطور نیز هست.» برخلاف آنچه که گفته شد، قصه‌های ناتمام مشخصاً برای کسانی است که هنوز در سرزمین میانه، زبان‌هایش، افسانه‌هایش، سیاست‌هایش و شاهانش به طور کافی کنکاش نکرده‌اند.

کریستوفر تالکین این مجموعه را ویرایش و عرضه کرده است. او همچنین نقشه فرمانروای حلقه‌ها را در ابعادی بزرگ‌تر مجدداً ترسیم و تنها نقشه‌ای که جی. آر. آر. تالکین از نومه‌نور ساخته بود را بازآفرینی کرده است.

this edition is still not added. there are w size (and different page numbers) of this book and different covers. newer one is added (https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/6...) but not the one i made thread

content is the same, yes, but page size, page count and cover are different. this edition i posted is "paperback" and the other one currently online is "hardcover". i have both of them and you can see them side-by-side. front:

Thank you for the information. Paperback and hardcover are in fact different editions and should be classified separately. But the edition that we already have in the database, is classified as a paperback there, and it has the ISBN 9786222344702 that you gave for the paperback. Thecover image is that of the hardback, though. Something seems to have been mixed up.

As you own both editions, can you please specify which ISBN belongs the the paperback and which to the hardback? (If possible, please give both the ISBN10 and the ISBN13.)
Also, is it correct that the paperback has 660 pages and the hardback 876?

yes, it seems mixed up. i went to check and i noticed ISBN 10 & 13 of both books are the same! i checked back of the book and inside (2 places inside!) and it seems even the publisher mixed them up. publisher website was no help either. i can ask them but i don't know when i get answers. here is back of the books:

page count for Paperback is correct (660), there might be a problem for Hardcover though, it's printed to page 873 but after page 873 where book ends there are 3 white pages, back of 873 is white and two side of another page are blank after that. publisher website states it has 876 pages which is technically correct but 3 of them are completely white pages, i don't know about the rules of page count though

Thank you for the information. It is very unusual that both editions have the same ISBN. I created a new entry for the hardback edition but had to leave the ISBN field blank, because it is not possible to enter an ISBN already in the database a second time. The other data, including the cover images, should be correct now:

yes, it's indeed unusual, i'll have a meeting with publisher, i can ask more on the matter then.

paperback page number is still 876 (https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/6...) and can you please fix my name in paperback edition too? it's correct in hardcover which you kindly added, but not in paperback one which was wrong. it should be "محمدحسین شکوهی" just like the other one.

Hopefully, your name is correct now! I do not read Persian, it's hard to see the difference. Otherwise, just let me know – we will get there in the end.

thanks you very much. everything is correct now and it's fine really, i remember old times that a lot of browsers didn't even render Persian correctly and we had to use a lot of workarounds back then when wanting to communicate these stuff xD i changed the title to closed and again thanks for your time :)
