When Tracy finds the obituary for Carol Lynn Sprague, she stumbles across the fact that they had a foster daughter named Lindsay. Did you consider it unusual that no one from the neighborhood ever mentioned her? What went through your mind at the time about her probable experiences in that household?

Yes, I did think that was particularly odd, especially for the neighbor lady who taught across the street. I assumed that Lindsay was subjected to unspeakable tortures in that basement.

[Robin]

I figured Lindsay was buried in the basement.

Yes, I feared Lindsay might be in that basement, too.

These were the strangest neighbors. Most had lived in that community for decades and they don’t find it notable that a young girl used to live there and they never mentioned that when talking about the family with the police?

I expected to find that Lindsay was dead. The crazy family had to abuse her.

I expected her to be dead along with the rest of the bodies that were buried in that house. I was surprised that she was found alive when Tracy tracked her sister down.
