From my I understanding,if you actually purchased the book prior to the release date you can leave a review. Otherwise, you have to wait for the release date in order to do so.

I had that issue when I first started. Is there a paperback option already available? If so, they are probably leaving reviews that way.
Currently Jan Ashton's newest won't let you review the ebook version but I was able to leave one on the paperback edition.
I always hate to be the first to review a paperback. I always think Amazon will block it since its so obvious I didn't order the book. LOL
Well that worked wonders! I shared your information with the Author since she couldn’t get Amazon to help her either! You are all so helpful and wise. I’m ditching my therapist and coming directly here from now on😉
I asked booksprout and they said to just wait until the official release date. That’s what I’ve done.
I think the teams understand when there is a slight delay in getting the Amazon review up. I have noticed there are a few days leeway from the date of release to last day to have the review posted.Amazon can get the review up within a half hour, or can take 4-5 days. (Very annoying)
Now that Kindle doesn't accept .mobi files, has anyone figured out if there's a way to load Booksprout books? I hate reading their ARCs from my computer or cell phone, which is what I've been stuck with for the past month.
I nearly always read on my cellphone so I don't know if this works for you but if you go to Manage content and devices/ content/docs page on the amazon desktop site, and find your document there, there's an option that says "deliver to device"can you see the device that you want there?
Debbie, you have to get the EPUB version to send to Kindle.I can still read the MOBI file on my Kindle app on the laptop.
That's what I do. I have the EPUB sent to my email and then fwd a blank email to my Default Kindle app reader email address. It glitched in the beginning, but they seem to have the quirks worked out now.
I tried loading the epub file and ended up with an error email. Have you gotten it to load? Maybe it depends on what version of Kindle you have? Mine is a 10th Generation Kindle Paperwhite.
Sam, our comments overlapped. It WAS right after Kindle stopped accepting MOBI files that I tried EPUB unsuccessfully several times. Maybe I just need to try again now that it's been a few weeks. Next time I get an ARC...!
I find I have to keep the email completely blank and nothing in the subject line.Perhaps it works differently for others, but that seems to be what works for me.
I use a Samsung tablet with the kindle app. From what I understood actual kindles had higher preference on this update. We had to wait a bit longer.
If it is an ePUB I send it to my kindle email with the subject Convert. Should work for PDF's as well. As long as you send it from your email address on amazon
I don't think so but have never wanted that feature so I've never looked for it. I don't remember seeing it.

I use Moon+Reader Pro, it has no many optional features. I don't think it reads aloud tho
You can Google Book Bazaar and it will give you information about the site. It took me a while to learn how to navigate it and my book list. I'm not very adventurous. If I can read a book, I'm happy. That is all I require. I have it on my computer so I can read it better. My phone is too small for reading a book. I have a NOOK that I use for Book Funnel and Kindle downloads. I use Book Bazaar for the Mobi files. It works.
I did and saw it was a microsoft app. That is was I use my little tablet for. Ain't technology grand?!!
When it works... yes! So much is available to me through them. I would be a very dull person without my tech toys [computer, phone, and tablet] that connect me to my books.
If you want text to speech feature for mobi, you can try Alreader. It's navigation will take some getting used to but it does support many file formats and also text to speech.

I was able to easily do that here on Goodreads but I wanted to be able to also do it on Amazon. It’s available for pre-order on Amazon and when I click on the add my review button I get a notice saying this book is not eligible for review yet.
I see that some of my favorite reviewers ( you know who you are ) have been able to leave a review. I’m looking for advice on how to do that?
