Books selected for this task need to have an animal on the cover, real or mythical. Any edition’s cover can be used to qualify. Please include the qualifying cover in your completion posts. Shifters count, but must be in animal form on the cover. The depiction on the cover needs to represent the actual animal - so a dragon on the cover works, a statue or tattoo of a dragon does not. Not a team decision.
My Halloween book, and my next audio both work. So I can do 2.

I'm starting on a book with a dragon on the cover, double checking it's allowed. I also have a dog but that's a few down the line so hoping the dragon is allowed.Better yet, it'd be lovely is this cover had an animal but I'm not seeing one 😥

I’m so messed up that I just asked Siri. He says a spider is an invertebrate animal!ETA: there are also birds on there. Or maybe bats, which are mammals. Either way, they’re part of the animal kingdom.

I asked about the bats. I wasn't sure about the spider either... so either way looks like I have options. I'm reading the dragon book regardless, so this will be either a second option or a replacement if she doesn't approve the dragon... which is probably considered a reptile so hopefully she'll count it.
The task info says mythological animals work, and specifically mentions dragons. So you’re good.

I can do Texas, New York, Kentucky, England. I can probably also swing Ireland. Also willing to entertain other suggestions.
I can do England, Ireland, Pennsylvania, Oregon, Montana, Vermont, Kentucky, Illinois (Chicago), Colorado, Minnesota, Michiganthese are in no particular order...
My next reads are set in Italy, England, can also do Kentucky. Can probably do others but will need to hunt them out.
From the ones mentioned, I can easily do Texas, New York, England, Minnesota, Ireland, and Italy. Also have books planned in Canada and Mexico.
Looks like England is the one we all have in common.
