**Remember to use the first edition Kindle page count only! If your page count comes from a Kindle edition published on the initial publication date on the editions page, it will count. If your page count comes from a Kindle edition labeled '1st edition', it will count. If your page count comes from the earliest dated English language Kindle edition, it will count. I am looking for one of those three things when confirming your books! As long the page count you list is correct, I will accept any link to the book. Ebook page count will be acceptable if no Kindle page count available. The acceptability of other page counts will be made on an individual basis.**

I think most of you know each other, at least a little, but feel free to introduce yourself again. Please give any relevant information, especially time zone as that helps know when it is best to communicate. 😊Please select a team leader to help keep track of where your team is in any given task. And as necessary guide discussions for task decisions. Any teammate can report your completions though.
Remember, it is the team's responsibility to notify the host (me) if a teammate fails to complete the task in a timely manner or otherwise goes missing! I am not checking all the team threads regularly to notice and may only check when notified a task is complete.
PS - If you want to be known as anything other than Team 12, you are free to come up with a team name. 😉

I'm in time zone (GMT-7) west coast time. I mostly read MM but have had some fantasy and mystery thrown my way recently.

Hi! I’m American and living in Italy. We’re about to move to England at the end of October/ early November. I love the name suggestions- especially Reading the Rainbow :)
Also I’m happy to be team leader unless someone else wants to be.

We are all in very different time zones. One of the things I like about this challenge, is as soon as the last book is read for the category, that person can go to the main page and post our completion.
We need to get going on some of the catagories that we need to agree on. We don't want to take mutlple days on agreeing on reading the same author or another category like that.
Ashley I made a spreadsheet....ya, it's not pretty. If anyone wants to make it look better or more efficiant please do.I thought we could answer on it, so that everything was in one place.
Some things I thought we might give 5 ideas, and then see if any of us have the same ideas. Or any that we can all agree upon.
And some that need answers, like what year you are born.
Or what you prefer Moon or Sun.
MM Romance is a sub gerne....so that's an easy answer anytime that comes up.

Are we all good with Reading the Rainbow as a team name? Also Skye I just got the other name you suggested, because we are team 12. Ha. Sorry it took me so long to make the connection!

I sent request to access Sky's spreadsheet too.But since Skye is sick, I am trying to get my list filled in now off line. Since I have never played before, I may have questions.

Sounds good- I was looking at Skye’s spreadsheet and her suggestions on series and authors looked good to me. If we don’t get access today I can make a backup spreadsheet for us. I’m sure the last thing she wants to do is be on the computer if she’s feeling sick. I’m out now but once I get home and get kids in bed I’ll take a look. I don’t remember what time of day the first task was assigned, but I can check my last group chat and see just to get an idea.

Last round it was posted at 6pm Eastern. If it's the same this round, I likely won't see it until I get up on Saturday morning.

Thanks everyone for starting to work on the spreadsheet! I had so much fun with this race last round and I'm really looking forward to this one. Since the 4 of us are spread out (Emeli and I in CET and Skye and Peggy in PST), whoever is the last to finish please feel free to post the completion post on the main page. I don't want our time zones to hold us up.
I'll review the spreadsheet tomorrow and put together a summary here. Then we can comment and make any changes and of course we can always adjust as we go so everyone is reading something they want to read.
Just a little head's up, because you were discussing it - I'm going to announce the first task a little early tomorrow, probably 3-4 hours before the scheduled time of 6 PM US EDT. I'm going to post that in the Q&A thread once I am done checking team threads. 😊

With both college and pro football seasons starting, I’m sure I’m not the only one with sports on the brain! As a team, decide if you are a book with primarily green cover or a book with MPG Sports Romance. If selecting a sports romance, it can either be the generic Sports (alone or combined) or the specific sports such as football, baseball or hockey - but it MUST be MPG! If selecting books for the cover option, green must be the primary color you see on the cover to qualify. No pass for this task.
I am up for a good sports romance but could probably find a green cover option as well. What does everyone think?

I'd pick green --not so fond of sports romances. But I can find a good sports one if that is what is decided.

This was darker than I thought it was going to be. I felt like there was a lot missing from this book - as if I started it mid-series. Even at the end of this book, I still had questions. I can't decide if I want to read the next one.

Looks like you just need to add the source of your page count (Kindle, etc) and a quick review. Once you add that to your post I can post on the main page so we get our next task :)
