*Personally I've read this a few times but am not really grasping what it's implying. Thought I'd share it so other can take from it and perhaps better understand it.

The copy is meant to persuade someone to buy a product, or influence their beliefs. (from wikipedia). content managers fall under that. i don't see the difference between the two. both have to come up with content/copy to push/influence sales.
