Asra Nolan | 41 comments Not sure the year of the book felt like a 70's but I read it 88-91 sorry for so vague but I think the movie was in the 90's one of those let's take the base topic and build a story around it (not a bad movie but very sci/fi channel style)
Book starts with two solders complaining about the war and how it is all but over. They describe that they both used autonomous robot factories with a limited AI to build two levels of robots a small ball like one and a more complex one (don't remember it's description) but at some point the factories decided to work together to end the war by killing the ones keeping the war going (humans).
Spoiler middle-- A human female showed up and tells them about a rocket off the planet but her group was taken out by a third stage robot that looks human. As they run through the station were the ship is the woman realizes that one of the two solders look like one of her group and warns the other guy that his partner is a robot.
Spoiler end-- After he kills his partner once he had proof that he was a robot they have a fire fight to the landing pad where the ship is kept. Turns out there is only room for one person and as a chivalrous man he puts the lady in the ship. As the last buttons and nobs are turned and the ship takes off the door is blown off the hinges and the three types come in balls, xxx, and human female robots. In the end he has sent the robots to Earth to end the war once and for all.
