Rating/Review: 4⭐⭐⭐⭐ Really loved this story, would have rated 5 but there were a few little things that bugged me but it didn't take away from the story too much. OMG I loved Miya she knew what she wanted and would accept nothing less. Dean, Dean, Dean (swoon alert) wasn't afraid to admit that what he thought he wanted had changed and went and god his girl. Loving Ja'Nese Dixon's writing, second book of hers that I loved.

Review: I'm never disappointed by an episode with Eve Dallas and this one is excellent. I like that the surprise is not on the identities of the murderers but on the process for Eve to obtain them. I really like the way Eve and Roarke evolve and the way Eve deals with her problems. They are my favorite couple of all time.

This was a sweet and fun enemies-to-lovers, grumpy/sunshine story. Ty and Brax were a lot fun and their banter was hysterical. Plus their chemistry was off the charts. I absolutely love Riley Hart and this is exactly why. She never fails to give me great characters and wonderful stories.

Review - this is a re-read for me. Fun, fairly light read. It's a bit of a second chance romance, which is not really a trope I care for, but they didn't really have a relationship before so most of the relationship development happened in the book not off page. I don't really like this narrator for this series, but he fit this book better than the last one (he's not a bad narrator, I just think his voice seems too old for these characters).

The first half the build up to relationship between Grant and Fiona was looking at getting that rare 5 stars from me. But after the Grant "meltdown" I was really disappointed. I know it's a book but you don't need to forgive when someone dumps all over you for no reason. So for that I had to drop down to 3 stars. And it saddens me because a book about MCs in their 40s had so much potential. I will finish the series though.

A really nice and sweet friends-to-lovers story that was low angst and fun. Heath and Griff have been friends for over 25 years and they have great chemistry. I also love that Poppy wasn’t made out to be a bitter harpy of an ex like they sometimes end up being. Just let a marriage end and the woman not be a shrew. Amicable divorces exist.

The relationship between Lucas and Rogan developed with no serious discussion or groveling by Rogan for the years he bullied Lucas when they were in school. One convo and all was forgiven. Then we have the "drama"? UGH really? Nothing dramatic about it.

It is only my second Tal Bauer ‘s work and I don’t know how I could haven’t known about his writing sooner. I really enjoy his writing, emotional, descriptive. So here, there were so beautiful and so emotional moments between Shane and Dakota.
It’s a second chance to lovers story so some angst for sure, some mystery (there is a murderer to catch also), but at the end a really sweet and romantic story.
