I love the descriptions of New Zealand, it sounds magical.
Jay Hogan writes a lovely hurt/comfort romance, and Judah's story is a heart wrencher. Really beautiful.

Guys, I'm going to Philadelphia tomorrow morning (we've got tickets to see AFI!)
I'll try to finish before we head out, otherwise it won't be done till Sunday.

We stayed up till 3:30 last night after the concert, spent the whole day in Philly, then drove home late. Now the clocks just went back an hour, so my body is outta whack!
Have a nice day at work Janeylou!

Task 16 - 92. Read over 1500 pages in books set in the future or the past - teams decide.
As a team decide whether your books will be set in the past or in the future, then read at least 1500 pages set in that time frame. ‘Historical’ or ‘Futuristic’ tags will qualify depending on the selected time frame. If looking for specific years, it would need to be 25 years to the future or the past. Remember to use the first edition Kindle page count.

Team chose past

Whisper by Tal Bauer
726 Pages
How it qualifies: MPG Historical
Date Read: 11/8/2022
Rating: 4 Stars
Review: As always Tal completely sucked me in and I was on the edge of my seat. It was a little slow in the beginning, and because I've read a lot of Tal I saw the exact big twist coming very early, but it was still so engaging and riveting and I loved it.

Team chose past

Claw Marks & Card Games by Maz Maddox
Pages: 265
How it qualifies: MPG Historical
Read: November 10th
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Team chose past

The Soldier and the Spy by Annabelle Greene
276 pages
How it Fits: MPG Historical
Read: 9 Nov
Rating: 4 stars
Review: Annabelle Green's Society of Beasts is a terrific series. While it's best to read them in order, I actually read The Soldier and the Spy last, and it worked out fine for me.
Also, I did the first two books in audio (beautifully performed by Cornell Collins!). However, I liked The Servant and the Gentleman best. I just really liked that story. Anyhoo - beautifully written, super erotic, and really nicely done historical.

We've got the second AFI concert tonight, but then stuff slows down again for me for awhile :)

Time is racing right now, I can't believe we are already at the end of the challenge again! 😳

Had a great time as usual, and see you all next time round 😁
