Also, as you mentioned, who tf is he to tell her what to wear when she doesn't feel comfortable and confident enough to do that yet??? I also felt like Fallon's whole confidence depended on Ben and he tried to make her feel beautiful just so that he'd feel less guilty about taking her career away from her and scaring her.
I know that most CoHo books are about scarred and imperfect characters, but I couldn't get into this one because it romanticised toxic behaviour.

I wish he goes to jail for arson. There is so much abuse too.
I shove the dress back at him. “I don’t want to wear that, I want to wear this.”
“No,” he says. “I’m paying fo..."
literally. It felt weird to read it

real.

Hi
See that totally your POV no objections but i feel like he just felt guilty about whatever he did to fallon and it definitely was his fault that she lost her confidence and everything so he was just trying to yk correct his own mistake
It was his mistake that she got scars so he is loving and he genuinely was loving her. Where no one was even ready to date her he was the one who loved her. He was the only person who helped her to gain her confidence again.

this made me laugh, I did not like this book at all and all my friends loved it! I am glad to see other people who have the same opinion <3

“No,” he says. “I’m paying for dinner, so I get to choose what to stare at while we eat.”
Like people are crying and puking “It’s so nice”
