OK, I wasn't sure what to expect going into this book and I had absolutely NO intention of carrying on with this series, but...
I will admit, I am intrigued! So, carry on, I must! *grin*
Sidenote: I had the clues, but didn't know what the heck to do with them... to say I didn't have a clue who the killer was would have been an understatement! *headdesk* ;p

I've read this before! It took me a while to remember but it must have been for the first or second round. It was just a good this go around. I didn't remember all the little details so it was still interesting. And a break from all the smexing was a nice change.

Review:
This was a favourite book of mine growing up, so not only did I get to enjoy the story again, but it brought back memories of my teen and early adult life as well. Heyer's characterisations of all the characters in her stories are masterful; their actions and dialogue are reinforced at every turn. And in this story, we also get an anti-hero in MC Oliver Carleton - a rude and unlikeable person who tells you to your face exactly what he thinks. But for those he regards well, he's at your back :) Which MC Annis Wychwood needs to complement her strong and independent personality. Whilst they clash, they also laugh together. Not perfect, but perfect for them :)
Narrated by Katherine Press. Good but perhaps not quite as Eve Matheson's earlier narration? (But this was many years ago, and I may misremember.)

An interesting book.

Review:
A reread for me, specifically because I needed a book with the motorcycle on the cover. But its an easy read with an enjoyable storyline, no heavy angst and a good insight (hopefully) into someone who is blind and how they manage their life and others' perceptions. MC James is strong despite this disability; his frustrations were understandable. MC Trevor needed someone like James to show him his worth, remind him of his compassion and gentleness, and give him someone (other than work and himself) to care about.
Narrated by Greg Tremblay - excellent

Review:
I have to agree with Lang, I love fish, but fish sticks... not so much!
As for the 3 MCs, the guys, Lang and Deke were interesting, but Zig stole the show! Yes, I love my kids to be written sassy and on the quirky side and Zig fits the bill!
The action is pretty much non-stop and frankly, I didn't figure out the bad guy (maybe I missed a clue or two?), although I felt the "Daniel" issue was wrapped up a little too neatly and anti-climatic. Which, now that I think about it, that is pretty much all he deserved!
Not sure how I am going to feel about West's story, but we shall see.

I am definitely NOT going to be reading this book! Not sure how tomorrow is going to go, but if someone else doesn't get to a 2nd book, I will choose another one when I get home around lunch, my time. My plans have changed for in the morning... grrr

This one fit right in with the others in the series and the men from the previous books played a pretty decent role in this one. I love that! The dreamy unreality continue in this book where we have Theodore who is a single dad trying desperately to get his PhD in order to give his son a better life therefore keeping himself very busy and very lonely. Then we have Snake, the tattooed man of Teddy's dreams who turns out to be quite the mystery. Hated the grandparents, loved our boys and adored Snake. Very sweet romance with the smartest seven year old I've ever read about.

I like reading about MCs, and this one although criminal also did good. Zayne and Nash meet when Nash is called as a paramedic to the MCs President having a heart attack. It is a little insta-love but then we get some angst when Nash is kidnapped.

I liked the way Gabe chipped away at Joker on their way to a HEA.

I didn't have any hope of this being a good book but was pleasantly surprised. I mean it wasn't fantastic but it kept me entertained and reading straight through which is all I ask for. Cute couple, Alpha/omega slick smexing and mpreg. All a girl could want. Only a little drama with some fun pranks thrown in for good measure. Fun read!
LOL - I think that makes 7 books if I post mine (which I'm still a way off finishing~ only a quarter of my way through). Lisa slipped in a second one 😜I'll take my time and finish my book but not for this task :) That way I can do the team completion now.

All I can say is that I knew Jonty's childhood had been extremely traumatic, but it would appear that neither Jonty nor I were ready to face that trauma head-on. However, since the author didn't give us a choice, we handled it the best that we could... life kinda just sucks that way sometimes... grrr
This one was a bit hard for me because it was darker than the books that had come before and I love me some Jolly Jonty! This "almost" broken Jonty truly broke my heart. Of course, even though he has stumbled in the past, this time Orlando had no doubts and was Jonty's rock throughout the story.
Now that I have survived this one, I will be moving on to Lessons in Temptation!!!

Well, we are up to book #5 and I am still intrigued by these two unique characters!
I had this long, I am sure wonderful review floating around in my head as I finished the last sentence of this book, but then I realized that it would take way too much time to type it and I really need to move on to the next book, sooooo...
Just when I think these two are settling into their relationship there is still yet another obstacle there to cause havoc and stress... not to mention another mystery! Frankly, I am exhausted for them and think I would be staying at home... in the cottage... for a while, just to put their feet up and spend time with each other... but, that's just me!
OK, Lessons in Seduction is calling my name!

Harry sure has a distorted view of himself, poor guy. He thinks he's a fat dumpy guy but all Tony sees is a sexy bear. Loved the side characters in this one and all the sass. Sweet story with regular guys who have regular jobs finding love. Very nice.

So we see the 2nd flat mate paired off in this story. Taylor and Draven dont have an easy road to their HEA. Lots of angst and then forgiveness and the story with Jude was so sad.

So I read this a year ago, but since then I've read the next two books in the series which links more of the characters. Knowing a bit more about the side characters was interesting (but not necessary). I loved Jesse's easy and fun personality, clashing with Zeb's serious responsibility. As usual Lily M's style really suits my humour - I always know I'm in for a great story.
