A disappointing read. It was advertised as a "gripping" mystery; I would strongly disagree. The story plodded along with the answer to the puzzle being obvious halfway through! The setting was Wales but you wouldn't have known it from the setting description, other than mention of being within driving distance of Swansea.

The characters came across as not much more interesting than cardboard cutouts.

Two stars for me. Won't be reading any others by this author.
