If you're read Happily Ever Esther with us, here are some discussion questions :)

1. Were you familiar with Esther and the rest of her friends before reading this book?
2. Have you ever thought of giving everything up and moving to a farm?
3. Would you share Esther's story with your non-vegan friends?
4. Were you able to relate to Steve and Derek?
5. What did you think of the writing style?
6. What surprised you the most when reading this book?
7. Be honest: how much do you want a pig after learning more about Esther?
8. How would you rate this book and why?

1. Yes! I've followed Esther on Instagram for a while.
2. Absolutely not lol. I live in a rural area and know how much work farming can be. I would not have the strength or patience to handle it.
3. Yes, though I don't think it would make them go vegan, unfortunately :( they'd think she's cute/interesting but it would stop there.
4. I love the way these books are written so even though I have nothing in common with Esther's dads, they come off as so relatable.
5. I think the writing style really contributes to my enjoyment. They have a way of writing that makes the story fun (despite hardships).
6. Honestly, I didn't expect to be so absolutely stressed reading about when they first moved in. Pipes bursting, freezing, etc. My husband and I are trying to buy our first house, and this is exactly how I expect things to go when we move in lol.
7. I love pigs, I think they're adorable, but I don't think anything could convince me more that I would not be capable of having one of my own than these books.
8. I give it 5 stars out of 5! It was so great learning more about Esther and her family.
