Jane involves her protection detail in her PR stunts, specifically insinuating that she and Cosmo were in an intimate relationship. What sort of opinion were you forming about her at that time? Your thoughts about the whole mess?

Robin (robinmy) | 2450 comments I thought it was a stupid thing to do without first consulting with Cosmo or Tom Paoletti. Yes, it makes her look good in the papers, but it also darkens the Troubleshooters reputation.

Lauren (laurenjberman) | 1811 comments This was very shallow of her and she did not think of the consequences beyond her own ends. Cosmo's fury was more than justified.

At this point in the story, I did not find Jane all that likable. She came across as very selfish and self-absorbed. But this is soon revealed to be a defense mechanism.

Anita (anitanodiva) | 2973 comments I didn't think much of this antic, or Jane at this point. It was not fair to Cosmo especially. He was blindsided by her antics and when he read her the riot act, she deserved it.

After this, my opinion of Joan was heading downward. It was selfish and thoughtless. It’s one thing to run your own agenda with complicit partners. But to use these men without regard to their own reputations was shallow.

Sharon Kallenberger Marzola | 3485 comments I was very angry with Jane. She used people for her own gain and she didn't care if it hurt their careers. I didn't like Jane at all at this point.
