Eugh, I wish! It always takes me back to the Aus site where it's $16.99 - the same price as the paperback here. The US gets such good specials!

No worries Denis, I think we're all behind this month. I'm in the middle of 2 long books so it's going to be a little while before I start this one.

I will also be behind. I've ordered it through work but it's gotta come from the States so we're looking at a minimum of 2 weeks I think. Hopefully it at least gets here before Halloween!

Started this tonight, so far so good. Well written and easy to follow.

This book reads so fast. It gets super fun and pretty damn gory in the 2nd half. The 1st half is a lot of set up but the writing is good so it didn't feel slow to me.

Bad news, I'm out :( It was supposed to arrive in yesterday's shipment but it came with a note saying order not filled because it's 'not published yet' :( Which makes no sense to me but oh well. Sad.

@Krystal - the only one that is new is his second book Clown in the Cornfield 2 which just released not too long ago. The first book has been published for over a year or so. That doesn't make sense with that note.

It's likely because it hasn't been published in Aus yet. But if that's the case it's ridiculous that it's so far behind! Very sad :(

So thoughts so far:

(view spoiler)[I like Quinn - she is cool - she is wanting to hang out with the trouble makers but she is handling herself well with them by riding the fence with their ideas.

I am feeling bad for her dad at the moment as I just read that section earlier this morning where he was stuck in the rotted corn pile. I am curious as to what the mystery is surrounding the burning torches in his cornfield but I know I will soon learn what is going on. I just felt bad that someone knocked him out - poor guy - here he is the doctor of the town now and he is getting treated bad - though now we know what happened to the other doctor as he was found in the rotted corn.

Also Frendo going on a killing spree - so I am wondering which I know none of you will tell me (lol) if Frendo is really a spirit doing these bad deeds. I am thinking he is not someone dressed up in a costume. I am thinking he is a clown apparition and he is on a raging axe spree. Unless it is a person and they have gone around the bend then I could see them dressing up as Frendo and killing people. (hide spoiler)]

So those are my thoughts so far. Though I have a feeling that (view spoiler)[the friends (Cole and crew) are on the victim list of Frendo - I have seen Tucker already bite the dust so I wonder who is next on the axe list! (hide spoiler)]

I finished the book during the night and loved every single minute of it! Wow! What an awesome story with lots of blood and screaming! lol

I finished this off this morning - what are great October read this was!! My first book by Adam Cesare and I really enjoyed his easy style of writing. I will def be reading more from this author in the future.
As for the book itself (view spoiler)[. this just felt like an old school slasher flick I watched growing up and I loved it! Simple cast of characters that were easy to like or dislike and a simple plot. Grumpy old bastards tired of spoiled disrespectful kids and their "modern" ways.. (hide spoiler)] I look forward to book 2 in the future :)
