YA/Children's Fantasy with an East Asian setting, the main character is a girl with a katana (?)

I'm trying to find a book I was obsessed with in the late 2010s, unfortunately I don't remember a lot about it which means my own search has been fruitless.

I picked the book up in a library in Australia, and it was in the same section you'd find books like the Geronimo Stilton series and the My Secret Unicorn series.

The only real plot details I can remember is that the main character was an east Asian girl (maybe a princess?) who wielded a sword, most likely a katana? But I think the girl's name may have been more Chinese-sounding than Japanese. The only other thing I can remember at the moment is that her sister was an antagonistic figure as well.
